Pest Control
Specific service details, benefits, and processes
Moths
Clothes moths can cause significant damage to your wardrobe by feeding on natural fibres found in clothing, upholstery, and carpets. Common signs of an infestation include small holes in fabrics, webbing, and the presence of larvae. If left untreated, these pests can lead to costly damage to your belongings.
To effectively address clothes moth issues, it’s essential to thoroughly clean and inspect affected areas, wash or dry clean infested garments, and store items in airtight containers. Again, Panther Property Services can provide effective solutions with positive outcomes and offer guidance on prevention strategies to protect your clothing from future damage.
Weeds
Additionally, weeds can be an unsightly factor that detracts from the appearance of your premises. We at Panther Property Services can take this unsightly chore off your staff's hands, ensuring a clean and professional environment. We also handle any necessary paperwork for documentation, providing a comprehensive solution for your property.
Beetle
To effectively resolve carpet beetle issues, it’s important to conduct a thorough inspection and cleaning of affected areas, including vacuuming carpets and washing infested items. Panther Property Services can provide expert solutions to eliminate carpet beetles and their larvae, ensuring a pest-free environment. Our team will also offer guidance on preventive measures to protect your home from future infestations.
Weeds
At Panther Property Services, we include weed management in our Pest Management offerings. Weeds can create harboring spots for unwanted pests, including rodents, which is especially concerning for our warehouse properties where export activities are part of the business. It’s crucial to eliminate any traces of weeds near containers and exported goods to maintain compliance and protect your reputation.
Wasp Control
From my experience, both paper wasps and European wasps are significant pests. There are increasing numbers of products available to reduce the population of European wasps, but timing is crucial for effectiveness. There are several strategies you can implement around your property to help decrease wasp numbers, particularly for paper wasps, which I can explain in detail. But for peace of mind and the risk of someone getting stung, we are more than happy to offer our services
Bed Bug Treatments
DIY methods may help reduce the number of bed bugs, but professional pest control is generally required to completely eliminate an infestation. Bed bugs are resilient and can survive multiple treatments. They may also develop resistance to certain products if they have been previously treated.
In the event of an infestation, significant work is required from the owner or tenant during the treatment by a qualified technician. Bedding, clothes, pillows, etc., need hot washes or spins in the dryer to address the current infestation. The pest technician has a thorough job as well, needing to inspect and treat all furniture, power sockets, skirting boards, light fittings, and curtains adequately.
One major expense might be the mattress. It is recommended to use a comprehensive mattress protector to prevent bed bug infestations.
While these tasks may seem overwhelming for clients, they are manageable. Further discussion can be arranged in person.
Pantry Moth Treatment
This pest is often brought into the home through purchased goods and can quickly become problematic if unnoticed. It is necessary to dispose of infested pantry items and secure waste in proper waste bags. A thorough cleaning in and around the pantry, behind cabinetry and refrigerators, and other hidden areas is required. After treatment, using hanging sticky board lures can help to catch remaining males and end the infestation cycle.
Fly Control
Houseflies, Lesser Flies, and Fruit Flies are commonly regarded as nuisances. We offer solutions to reduce their numbers, including relocating waste bins and compost bins, and cleaning external drains to prevent nesting. Our team can provide advice and services to address these issues before introducing any products. For commercial properties, we offer various hardware and baiting units to effectively manage these pests, along with detailed advice to prevent future occurrences.
Ant Control
Ant nests are commonly found in soil beneath stones, concrete paths, walls, and similar structures. During late summer, and occasionally at other times of the year, swarms of winged male and female ants emerge to mate and disperse. Ants generally consume sweet, sugary foods, although some species may also feed on fats and meat products.
Cockroach Management
Cockroaches in residences and food establishments cause significant distress and concern. Contrary to popular belief, they do not solely infest unclean environments; rather, they can inhabit a variety of locations. This misconception contributes to the stigma associated with cockroach infestations.
